Lino Tagliapietra: The Maestro of Murano

At 12 years old, when Lino Tagliapietra informed his mother, a talented lace maker, and his father, a fisherman, that he would be dropping out of school to work in a glass factory, they were less than thrilled. But at age 21, when he became a Glass Maestro, it seemed like a pretty good plan after all. Now age 73, Tagliapietra's artistic mastery and vision continue to influence Studio Glass artists around the world.

Redesigning Your Web Site to Keep a Competitive Advantage
