Karen Reed, owner of Earthstar Glass, recently completed a commission for a hospital chapel in which the use of lead was not allowed due to its ban from healthcare facilities. Reed was able to create beautiful windows made from fused glass that perfectly fulfilled the desires of the donors and contained no lead.
