Glass Art E-Newsletter September/October 2012

September/October 2012

Greetings!,Shawn Photo

An Autumn to Remember!

Glass Art's 2012-2013 Directory to Industry Suppliers is dedicated to making the buying and selling process between artists, retailers, and suppliers mutually beneficial. "Offering the print directory with the online directory increases return on investment with print," says Glass Art publisher Maureen James. "Even though it is two different databases, it still makes sense. The online directory is yet one more way for customers to find your business, and your inclusion increases your ranking in the search engines. Customers can also find your physical location with the Google map and go right to your website at the exact time they are interested in the product or service"

Glass Patterns Quarterly is excited to offer Glass Expert Webinars with many talented artists. Tanya Veit will share her "Picasso" Technique with Dichroic Glass for Jewelry on October 30, 2012. This two hour Webinar will also include Veit's tricks for creating intricate engravings in glass, as well as how to create your own patterns in dichroic glass while combining the two techniques with layering. This unique look has stimulated Veit's art glass jewelry career, and she now sells her work at over 150 galleries and boutiques. Learn her secret methods from your own home. This workshop Webinar will sell out quickly, the time and the Website link to Register are listed below. No travel required!

Wishing you continued success in learning, business, and art . . . online and in print,

Shawn Waggoner
