Creating glasswork by firing strips of sheet glass on edge is a time-honored method pioneered by Klaus Moje, the father of contemporary kiln-glass. In this class, you will explore the on-edge technique and the design possibilities it offers by examining samples and making your own piece. In the process, you will hone your glass cutting skills and extend your knowledge of the kiln. Prerequisites: Basic glass cutting and kilnforming experience.
