Debbie Tarsitano is arguably the world's premiere contemporary female paperweight artist. But beginning in 1999, she began to phase out lampworking and paperweight making and started to phase in the techniques and aesthetics of pate de verre. This shift in process and technical focus resulted in an entirely new and fresh body of work.
