Pioneers in Glass Robert Carlson Exploring the Realm of Creativity

For artist Robert Carlson, meeting glass artist Tom Philabaum while he was working construction in Tucson, Arizona, in the 1970s led Carlson to a lifetime of creating glorious art in hot glass. During the last decade, the artist began a series of faces reverse-painted on glass bottles that includes The Twelve Apostles and Welcome to the 21st Century.
