Recognizing the needs of emerging contemporary artists working in glass, a group of glass artists, curators, and educators collaborated with the leadership at Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center to establish a special place for contemporary glass. The Creative Glass Center of America (CGCA) Fellowship Program continues to provide studio facilities and technical resources to emerging glass artists, many of whom have moved on to successful careers.
