Ginny Ruffner made significant and lasting contributions to the world of glass and her artistic innovations helped catapult flameworking into a gallery artform. Ruffner’s work included large-scale sculptures, intimate narrative pieces, and the use of cutting-edge technology. Her groundbreaking exhibit, Reforestation of the Imagination, incorporated Augmented Reality to bring glass to life digitally. SOLA, a nonprofit she cofounded, continues to support mature women artists, ensuring that her legacy will live on to inspire future generations.
