The Contemporary Glass Society acknowledged the 20th anniversary of Scotland’s North Lands Creative Glass by presenting an exhibition of member’s work exploring the theme Connections. Functional, decorative, and sculptural items were all considered, and entries were required to contain at least 50 percent glass to be created since October 2014.

A Colorful Family Legacy Began with the Sage Chapel Apse Mosaics

The mosaic mural in the apse of Sage Chapel at Cornell University was created by Ella Condie Lamb. It was ten years in the making and was revealed at Cornell’s spring commencement in 1900. The mosaics in are the jewel of the chapel interior and closely reflect the ideals of the university.
