In this Webinar, Tony Glander will talk about his playtime with what he calls “free glass.” It all began when he was given sheets of tempered window glass and turned them into a show of 50 fused bowls made from recycled glass. In this live interactive class, you will learn how to experiment in your own kiln using glass that costs you very little, or most times nothing!
Working with both traditional and nontraditional art glass, Tony’s lesson will cover how to make a one-fire bowl, use inclusions, and fuse with plate glass. He will cover firing schedules for a variety of effects and different glasses, help you get to know your kiln better as well as gain confidence in programming it.
