A lifelong love of glass brought Nancy Tobey to beadmaking!  Join her as she guides you in achieving brilliant colors in your beadmaking through various layering techniques and color combinations. She will work with Northstar colors and explore several techniques for creating a variety of colors, including a range of fuschia, purples and pinks among others.  Watch as she experiments with several frit sizes and colors and shows how to alter your bead shapes with the help of just a few simple tools. Nancy will demonstrate how adding simple layers of clear glass creates depth in your work and magnifies the beauty of your colors beneath the surface.
