Sugarloaf Craft Festivals is now accepting artist and craftperson applications for its Fall 2013 shows. Celebrating its 38th season, Sugarloaf Craft Festivals are among the country’s leading juried shows of fine art and crafts.
Exhibition space is available at every show in all categories, including fiber and fashion, photography, fine art, furniture, ceramics and pottery, blown and leaded glass, jewelry, metal, leather, and functional and decorative wood. The jury process for the Spring 2013 shows will begin January 18th.
Shows for the Fall 2013 season of Sugarloaf Craft Festivals include:
October 4-6, 2013, Timonium, MD (outside Baltimore), Maryland State Fairgrounds
October 11-13, 2013, Gaithersburg, MD (outside Washington, D.C.), Montgomery County Fairgrounds
October 25-27, 2013, Somerset, NJ, Garden State Exhibition Center
November 1-3, 2013, Oaks, PA (outside Philadelphia), Greater Philadelphia Expo Center
November 22-24, 2013, Gaithersburg, MD (outside Washington, D.C.), Montgomery County Fairgrounds
December 13-15, 2013, Chantilly, VA (Northern Virginia), Dulles Expo Center
Craft industry publications regularly rank Sugarloaf Crafts Festivals among the top fine arts and crafts festivals around the country. Sunshine Artist Magazine named eight of Sugarloaf’s shows in its list of the 2012 “100 Best Classic and Contemporary Craft Shows.” Each show features hundreds of jury-selected artists whose work is included in the nation’s finest galleries, private collections, and museums.
