- Short Bio: After studies in an art college in Germany, Pagel worked for 10 yearsas a graphic designer in the Greater Paris area. When she left Paris for northern France, she discovered glass bead making completely by chance by seeking supplies for mosaic. She started as an autodidact, thereafter she attended workshops by Akihiro Ohkama, Diana East and Sarah Hornik.
