This is a perfect workshop for any jewelry artist looking to expand their jewelry line. Link jewelry is very popular and Casting with Colour de Verre's newest glass casting molds, "The Glasslinks Series" will take you jewelry to another level. The four new shapes, oval, diamond, circle & heart, will inspire endless design combinations for pendants and bracelets and can also be incorporated as decorative elements on boxes, plates, picture frames and other glass projects. Jayne will show you how to prepare and fill the molds for a successful thin firing. Together with a new release and special firing schedule the links will be smooth, light weight and free of sharp edges resulting in light weight jewelry designed to be comfortable.
She will also show you the color blending techniques to create your own custom colors to match the fashion trends or a favorite outfit. Wire wrapping and finishing techniques will be an important focus in this workshop. Jayne will cover several creative ways to join the links together for a variety of professional and cutting edge looks.
