Lampworking legend, Lewis Wilson demonstrates several of his signature boro figures in this recorded link of the live webinar event. In his first demonstration, that of his famed Indian Dancers, Lewis will give you a good, basic understanding of how to construct a small, simple figure created in living boro color.
The second demonstration, also in living boro color, is a cheerful "Keep On Truckin’” fella inspired by R. Crumb's work in the 1960's. With this piece, learn how to approach doing a cartoon type figure, with its elongated, exaggerated leg and arm positions.
Inspired by Tolkien’s “Hobbit”, Lewis’s third demonstration, a clear sculpture, re-creates the character Gollum, sitting naked and cross legged.
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn how to make solid sculpted boro figures from one of the industry’s best!
