Join Coatings by Sandberg and Kate MacLeod for a two-day Dichroic Slider workshop to experience the effect of heat, angle, and gravity on CBS dichroic glass.

This amazing technique produces blown glass results coupled with the reflective, refractive, and transmitted color attributes of dichroic glass. Play with color and pattern while learning the technical aspects of weight, volume, and kiln preparation, which is easier than one expects. Come share in Kate’s adventure through yet another innovation in dichroic glass.

This course is suitable for all levels. Each student will produce a 9” tile suitable for wall mount or future slumping, and several jewelry sized pieces. The 9” tile may be artist’s selection, or a student may use either Kate’s starfish and hibiscus patterns.
