For Erwin Eisch, the eldest of six children and son of master glass engraver Valentin Eisch, glass production was a family affair. Factory work, however, led to blown glass art as Erwin began to experiment with bits of glass. He became know for his mold-blown, sculpted, engraved, and painted glass heads and his work with Harvey Littleton.
