Loren Stump discovered flat glass as a teen and later was introduced to bead making by Craig and Donna Milliron, owners of Arrow Springs. However, when he discovered the portraiture murrine of Venetian artist Giacomo Franchini during a slide show given by ancient chevron bead expert Jamie Allen, he had found his calling as a stellar murrine artist and teacher.
