A chance encounter at SOFA Chicago 2010 culminated in the inclusion of thirty-six members of the Society of American Mosaic Artists (SAMA) in Mosaic Art Today, a new book by Jeffrey B. Snyder. Knowing that the SAMA membership is comprised of many of the best mosaic artists working in the medium today, a call went out to SAMA artists, who were encouraged by SAMA to submit work for this project.
