Hope by Mariam Fiore

by Shawn Waggoner

Miriam Di Fiore’s journey through life and glass has received much of its inspiration from the woods surrounding the place where she grew up. Her technique, a long and tedious process, combines soft flameworking, fusing, and multiple firings, all in the same piece. The process is repeated over and over until her landscapes emerge.
