We are excited to have internationally known instructor, Patty Gray, coming to Uroboros Glass this fall to teach Advanced Fusing and Combing. In this 3‐day workshop, you will learn many aspects of glass fusing such as combing and manipulating glass in the kiln, making and using pattern bars, how to pull stringers from a vitrigraph kiln, how to use mica powders and much more. You will cover a lot of material in your 3 days with Patty. Along with a hands on experience with each of these techniques, you will complete a fused glass bowl from start to finish. Emphasis will be on applying new techniques to explore new individual design possibilities. A great class for the intermediate to advanced glass fuser who is ready to reach for that next level. Students need to bring a glass cutter, pliers, straight edge, notebook, and any of your favorite tools. If you do not have these items, we have tools you can borrow or purchase. Glass and class supplies are provided, including lunch.
