Scott Ouderkirk will introduce you to new ideas for marketing you and your studio without spending a fortune. Scott will talk about using marketing to increase your exposure as well as your sales. Topics to be covered include leveraging your art as a marketing tool, partnering with other artists and businesses to help control cost, using the media and making money even when you aren't working.  Beginner or expert, it is never too early to start thinking about ways to market yourself!  Scott's enthusiasm and knowledge will have you thinking of ways to market even beyond his examples.

Scott Ouderkirk is an artist, author and craftsman who lives in Hammond, NY. He works in stained glass and pen and ink. His stained glass work is done using traditional and contemporary methods. A graduate of SUNY Oswego, he holds master degrees from Syracuse University and University of Hartford. He is the author of numerous books including, The Wind in the Islands, Sunday Drive, The Adirondack Run and many more. Scott has been a speaker at the national conferences of the American Glass Guild and the Stained Glass Association of America. He is a board member of the American Glass Guild and sits on the steering committee of RiverQuest.  Scott takes pride in his work, family and in whatever project he is currently involved. Scott's recent piece, The Queen, just returned to the North Country after hanging in the National Cathedral in Washington DC for five months. His work is found in many private collections across the United States and Canada.
