Instructor: Carmen Flores Tanis

In this two-day class, students will try over a dozen different ways of applying etching cream and resists to glass including direct application, rubber stamping, vinyl cutting and screen printing. Included also is an introduction to Carmen's exciting new technique for etching artwork onto dichroic glass using a laser printer and Mad Craft Skills printable resist film as seen in Glass Patterns Quarterly. You'll finish up the first session by prepping the pieces for kiln firing overnight.

You'll return the next day to build a 6” x 12” mosaic panel to showcase your new dichroic treasures using the super easy, super quick “double indirect method”.
