The mosaic mural in the apse of Sage Chapel at Cornell University was created by Ella Condie Lamb. It was ten years in the making and was revealed at Cornell’s spring commencement in 1900. The mosaics in are the jewel of the chapel interior and closely reflect the ideals of the university.
