A Jewel of a Paddle
Butch Young introduces us to the blasted paddles of Jewels Durham. Intrigued by Native American art, Durham learned about the Journey, an annual trip via canoe by various American Indian tribes, and she began creating a series of cast and blasted glass paddles to commemorate the event.

Glass by Sally Prasch
Sally Prasch's odyssey with glass began at age 13, under the tutelage of University of Nebraska scientific glassblower and artist, Lloyd Moore. Prasch, who is known for her positive "can do" attitude in tackling any project of any size or complexity, attributes much of her gusto to what she learned from Moore.
