International Flameworking Conference 

Welcomes Ginny Ruffner in March Conference

Chair Paul J. Stankard has announced that world-renowned artist Ginny Ruffner will headline the 2006 International Flameworking Conference at Salem Community College, March 17 - 19, 2006. Ruffner's slide lecture and reception - both free and open to the public - will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Sol and Jean Davidow Performing Arts Theatre on Friday, March 17, 2006.

The Extraordinary Life of Master Glass Painter Richard Millard

He's a national treasure. Richard Millard would balk at that description, but anyone who knows anything about stained glass or glass painting will proclaim this as fact. In the following conversation with "Glass Art" magazine, Millard talks about his colorful life growing up in New York City and Australia, about his early days as an apprentice at Rambusch, his subsequent career restoring and painting historical stained glass, and about his current independent panels.
