Making Photo Resist Stencils

One effective way to incorporate highly detailed images into glass artwork is to use a photo resist as a stencil for blasting or etching patterns in clear or coated glass. In this article Milon Townsend demonstrates the “dry system.” 

Using Ceramic Molds for Glass Casting. Recently, a new line of ready-to-use, reusable and refirable glass casting molds has been introduced. They are composed of a specialized ceramic material that is durable and doesn’t lose shape during firings.  Lawrence Jacobsen reports.
